About mxverify

A public ledger of how links on PR, news and guest-post publications actually behave — 2,121 publications and 15,505 audited link checks so far.

Paid placements are sold on promises: a followed link, on an independent site, that stays. Most buyers never check. mxverify publishes what checking found — which publications keep links followed, which strip them to nofollow or remove them, and which "independent" titles are one operator's network on one server.

It is published by bklink.uk, the backlink audit tool whose audits produce the measurements. The methodology is on its own page, and so is what is deliberately never published.
